J. Brent Barrow, 55, was called to his heavenly home on Friday, August 2, 2019 after a 16-year battle with brain cancer. Brent was an important part of the CEC for many years, serving on our board of directors and supporting the CEC through our Annual Golf Classic, Gala and much more.

Brent’s life is a testament to his courage, strong faith and a love for others. He lived every day to the fullest and inspired family and friends to do the same. We are honored and humbled to dedicate this year’s tournament’s proceeds to the Brent Barrow Learning Lab at the CEC, where we will continue to further his passion for helping others.

Proceeds from the CEC Brent Barrow Golf Classic will benefit the Brent Barrow Learning Lab at the CEC providing employment & education training along with financial coaching to low income families and individuals in our community.
